Here’s a great dish for a cold winter weekend or football party. You can make this Chicken Taco Stew easily in your Crock Pot and spend close to $10 for about fourteen 3/4 cup servings. 1 onion, chopped – avg. price – $.47
1 16-oz can black beans – Bush’s - $1.19
1 16-oz can kidney beans – HT Kidney Beans – $.77

1 8-oz can tomato sauce – HT Tomato Sauce – $.57, use $.50 off on 2 coupon in the 1/15 Smart Source (SS), $.07 when you match it up with the Ortega seasoning below
2 14.5-oz cans diced tomatoes - $1 each , print coupon here for $.40 off on 2, $.60 each

Mix everything together in a slow cooker except chicken. Lay chicken on top and cover. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours. 30 minutes before serving, remove chicken and shred. Return chicken to slow cooker and stir in.
