We found a $9 Money Maker at Safeway today, just by using one of our justforU promotions.
Safeway was offering $15 off on a purchase of a $100 Master Card Gift Card. It has an activation fee of $5.95. There is a one time limit.
Soooo – we bought a $100 gift card for $90.95 and used it to buy our groceries today which yielded us a $9.05 profit – WOWIE!! That’s one of the best coupons ever!
They also have a promotion for $10 off when you buy a$100 American Express Gift Card, which will yield a $4.05 profit – again making it a nice little moneymaker.
And you can use the gift cards for anything – to pay bills, get gas, etc. It doesn’t need to be spent at Safeway.
Happy Shopping!

Our favorite cruise line has always been Norwegian. We are big fans of Freestyle Cruising. Other lines have tried to retrofit it to their ships and I have to say, it just doesn’t work as well as on Norwegian.
Their new ship, the Norwegian Breakaway is now offering a NYC to Bermuda itinerary.
If you’d like to be on their newsletter list for specials and deals (we would!) be sure to click on the learn more tab on the photo abovet.
I saw some really hot deals coming up next year for transatlantic and re-positioning cruises, so you may want to stay in their loop!

We actually saw the production of Showboat now at the Kennedy Center and it was one of the best musicals we’ve ever seen. There’s nothing like seeing an opera company perform a musical!
Here are a few more details:

Arrive early to Nationals Park to enjoy entertainment and activities including:
- Dance demonstrations by Gottaswing
- A meet and greet with M&M’S® Ms. Brown
- Photo opportunities for kids of all ages with the living statue of Babe Ruth (back by popular demand!)
- A special costume trunk where kids can play dress up using a wide variety of costumes and accessories
- Face painting by theatrical makeup artists
- A screening of the Warner Bros. cartoon “What’s Opera, Doc?,” starring Bugs Bunny and his nemesis Elmer Fudd
- Chances to win prizes, including tickets to Kennedy Center performances
- And more!
M&M’S® Opera in the Outfield will take place rain or shine!

Here we are at the Kennedy Center seeing Showboat and after the show we met Morris Robinson, who played Joe and sang “Ol Man River” (right).

Plus Goldstar still has some half price tickets for Show Boat at the Kennedy Center here. If you can, try to see this production – you’ll love it!
